Rejection or protection

Rejection: the dismissing or refusing a proposal, idea, etc.

Being rejected sucks but at the end of the day, it’s bound to happen. Not every person place or thing is for you. How to bounce back and understand the meaning of it all?! Glad you’d asked! Here’s how I keep my bounce back game strong. (Harvey taught me) lol

First and foremost, 99.9% of the time rejection is just a form of God’s protection over you! Yeah it may hurt your pride & feelings but all in all your in good condition most of the time.

Reality check! Re-evaluate your wants, desires & needs. Sometimes the things were going after aren’t things that are aligned with God’s will for our life.

Don’t shortchange yourself hun. It’s like when you drop something on the ground… You’re tempted to just dust the picked up particles off & continue as if it’s as good as the one sitting over there on the table that’s a little out of your way to get. Go ahead trash the one that fell (fail) & get the newer one that’s waiting for you. It may be a little farther but it’ll be much more fulfilling than the dusty one.

Maybe you’re not ready. Mentally we can think we’re ready to take on anything. Then once we are put in the situation it becomes overwhelming. Its ok to get out of the game & try again once you’ve grown a little.

Maybe they’re ( no maybe … they not ready) for the person you are. They may need time to grow & shape themselves. Or that place is actually a place you’ve already outgrown.

Whatever the case may be its ok to be rejected (protected). Whether it be an intimate relationship, family or friendship, your career, or society. Rejection is ok. As long as you don’t devalue yourself by believing rejection means failure or unworthy of. Because it doesn’t. Believe me, it’s not the first or last time you’ll be faced with some sort of rejection. It’s up to you to make something of it & discover what it is you needed to gain from that particular situation.

Such honesty in this post and sometimes the truth hurts but it needs to be heard! I completely agree, rejection is very often protection and it isn’t until we realise this that we can tap into the blessings God has in store for us!
