This year I have been more intentional with my makeup. Instead of reaching for the same looks every time, I’ve been challenging myself to experiment with bold colors, different placements, and techniques that used to live only on my Pinterest boards. For the longest time, I’d save the inspiration, admire it, and tell myself I’d try it “one day.” Well, this year is my “one day” !

There’s something fun about stepping outside of your comfort zone with makeup. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t but every look teaches you something new. And honestly, that’s become one of my favorite parts of the process.

For today’s look, I wanted something soft, beginner-friendly, and easy enough to recreate without needing professional makeup skills. I used warm neutral shades with a pop of gold shimmer to create a lifted, everyday soft glam look that’s perfect whether you’re heading to brunch, date night, or just want to play with your makeup.
